LONDON, March 27. W|fcat— The market is dull and inactive owing to excessive Argentine shipments, weak. American quotations, and the absence of Continental demand. No improvement is likely till the quantity .on passage is appreciably diminished; Business in cargoes is quiet, and the demand fairly firm. An Australian steamer cargo sold at 36s l£d. Holders are asking 36s for March and April shipment, and one shilling less for sieamer parcels. There is better demand; fpr Australian on the spoir at 37s 6d to 38s.

FlQur-r-The market is depressed. Business in Australian is quiet at 27s^ Butter —^The market is dull. The price, of Danish has been lowered, by six kroner — to 112s to 114s. Australian choicest 106s, unsalted 108s, a large proportion was heated during the voyage. There is fair inquiry for New Zealand, at 110s to 112s. Some large retailers have reduced the price to Is per £ound. 'Ctobpejv- On the spot £60 15s, three months £61 2s 6d. '
