The police have been advised that Thomas James Reynolds died at Riverton Hospital to-day from the effects of a wound on his head received whilo working at Wrey's bush on Tuesday. Reynolds was binding a loop in a wire rope of the hauling engine, when the engine surged and the rope tightened, causing an iron bar to fly round and hit Reynolds on the temple.
