CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 9. Fat Sheep — Prime wethers 25s to 31s 3d, lighter 19s to 245, prime ewes 21s to 24s 6d, others 18s to 20s, prime merino wethers 21s to 245. Fat Cattle— Steers £7 5s to £13, heifers £7 to £10, cows £4 17s 6d to £9 15s. Store Cattle— Yearlings 20s to 30s, h two-year-olds 50s, three-year steers to £4 2s 6d, three-year heifers £3, dry cows 20s to £3. / The dairy cow£— a poor lot — fetched from £3 to £6. Pigs — Heavy baconers £3 to £5 0s 6d, lighter 48s to 55s (equal to ssd to 6d , per lb.), large porkers 40s to 475, smaller 34s to 38s (averaging 6d), large storeß 25s to 355, medium 22s to 245, weaners 15s to -21s.
