' ' WELLINGTON, October li' Edward Murtagh, a jockey, was' charged at the S.M.; Court: to-day with wounding an infant] named Tui Leigh with intent to do grievous bodily harm. : The allegations I&re .that accused lived in the same boarding house! as the baby and that yesterday its mother and Murtagh had words, during which accused cut the child's thigh with a razor. The. wound is serious, and the child is not yet out' of danger. Prisoner . was remanded until the 16th inst. Fail was allowed on accused's own' bond for £100 and twb sureties of £50 each.
