A SPLENDID ENDOWMENT.

Mitchell, the famous Mitchell Libraty of Australian and Oceanic literature is presented to the public and £70,000 is left to endow it. A special Gazette has been issued, expressing regret at the death of one of the greatest benefactors of the State.
