Buchanan, financial secrotary'to the 'Army- Council, replying to a question by Mr Courthope in the House of Commons, promised to inquirt whether the Golonial Governments granted a separate allowance to noncommissioned officers and men composing representative shooting teams visiting England, but ho said the National Rifle Association- would bear the entire cost of the visit of the British team to the colonies.
