TRUANCY PROSECUTIONS.
The Kaimata School Committee wrote that they had passed the following resolution : —That the Truant In spector be instructed to give notice to parents, before issuing summonses, in all cases, because in many cases children play truant and it becomes a great hardship on parents to have to losu time and pay costs of summons, etc., in such cases. — Referred to the Trutfnv Officer to report.
