(Received July 24, 9.34 a.m.) ,
SYDNEY, July 24.
The steamer Kakapo, from Davenport, met the barque Eagle Crag, bound from Melbourne to Falmouth with a cargo of wheat, on Sunday, between Deal Island and Gabo.
The sailing vessel requested to be supplied with Greenwich time, and in founding up ran foul of the steamer, denting one of her plates slightly. The barque escaped serious injury.
