The principal underground railways, motor, horse, and omnibus companies, havo resolved to form a London Passenger Traffic' 1 - Board to. consider the question of getting remunerative fares. One hundred said ten motor omnibuses had withdrawn from the service, the proprietors" alleging that a fare of a penny mile was necessary to ensure a profit.

Eight hundred and fifty motor omni buses are still running.
