LATE SPORTING.
Per Press Association. : WELLINGTON, July 23. At the Racing Conference it was decided that no programme of a race i meeting should be approved by the Metropolitan Committee unless it provided that no hurdle race should be over hurdles of less than approved height. A sum of £150 was granted to the compiler of the Stud Book, Sir G. Clifford was "rerelected president, and a motion appreciative of his services was passed.
