NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special- Meeting held on WEDNESDAY, the 26th June, 1907, the following Resolution w^s passed : — In pursuance and exorcise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1905" (and all other powers, if any, thereunto enabling it), tho Barrett Road Board hereby resolves as f ollows : —rThat for the purpose of providing tho interest and other charges on the loan of \ £150 authorised to be raised by the Barrett Road Board under "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 19Q1," for the purpose of forming Devon Road, in the County of Taranaki, in the parts where the said road is at present unformed and is within the bound- . arica over whioh the said Board has control, the said Barrett Road Board . hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of l-10d in the Pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Devon Road Special Rating District, comprising tho particulars as advertised, and to be seen ' at the Office ■ of the , Board, Brougham Street, New Plymouth ; and that . such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the Ist day of Aprils in each I and every year during, the currency of such loan, being a period of for^y-one years, or until the ! said loan is paid off. WHEREAS a Resolution was passed at a meeting of the Carrington Koad Board held on MONDAY, the l.Mh day of July, 1907, "That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2700 authorised to be laised by the Carrington Road Board, the Board makes and levies a Special Rate of threeelevenths of a penny in the £ on the raeable value of all ratable property of the Carrington Road District," PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that a Meeting of .the Board will be held on THURSDAY, the 15th day of August, 1907, at 7.30 p.m., at the oflfice of the Board, for the purpose of confirming such Resolution.
