PRIEST'S BODY IN A TRUNK.

MURDERED FOR BETRAYING REVOLUTIONARY SECRETS.

Father Caspar collected money where /or lie held services. He occasionally Visited the tv»o A»-n)ci)ian? at their lodginK-hour.o. and he slept Ihere on May 23rd. leaving enriv on M«>y 24th.

On May 24ih a I'oavy trunk \^as brought to the room. The Armenians returned to the room in the evening, and left again within an hour. The trunk u:ui opened on IVlay 26th, and tho priest's body found doubled up inside.

The police believe that the Armeni ans attacked the nriost eft some un

known place, and then procured the trunk and forced him inside \\h\!<> still alive. Tho doctors believe that he {K-t:i-ally died after being placed in the trunk.
