The. balance-sheet presented at the half-yearly meeting of the Commercial Banking Company, Sydney, showed- .pro*fits amounting to £97,600.

A dividend of ten per cent, was declared. There was added to the reserve £20,000, and carried forward £27,600. In commemoration of his sixty years' connection wifli the bank it was decided to present Mr Dibbs, general manager, with a service of. plate, and to have his portrait hung in the bank.
