HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 19. The House met at 2.30. The amendments to the Pure Fooc 7 and Public Trust Amendment Bills were agreed to, read a third time and passed. The Rotorua Town Bill, which pro poses that tho management of the Towr )f Rotorua be vested in the Tourist ant Health Departments, was committed Clause 3 provided that the town shouh he managed by the general manager of the Tourist Department. On the motion of the Premier, the words "general manager" were left out, so as to leave the management in the hands of the Department generally. Another amendment was made proriding for the Act coming into operation on September Ist of this year. The Bill was then reported with amendments.
