They were drive)i to Raetihi, arriving at 6.30. They we're entertained at a banquet 1 in the evening. The trials of the back-blocks settlers were" placed in the , foreground by speakers, who demand the laying of a railway to assist in getting a valuable timber market. Several members .made speeches laudatory the pioneer courage exercised in opening up the deriert. The visitors leave for Auckland, taking coach to Raurimu tomorrow,..
