A good run ensued, in which the hunted managed to Urtti cover m thick furze. The hunt tlren 'returned 'to starting , point, and soon afterwards another hare was found and gave the riders a delightful gallop across country, several fences having to be negotiated- , The run was a^articularly exciting one, and a large number of the members^ wore able to keep their steeds well up, with ihe result that they were in at tho death. After the hunt the party cantered around a course which had been set oijt including wire, furze, and water jumps. There were several spills during the day, but none of a serious nature. Afternoon tea was provided by Mr and Mrs Sole, who entertained I the visitors in a very hospitable man-j ncr, and later in the day the host and hostess were accorded a hearty vote of thanks and given hearty 'cheers. In the evening a social took place in the Bell Block Hall. It was well at- | tended and proved very enjoyable* The next meet of tho Club is fixed I for Thursday week near Inglewood.
