At the Haymarket, O n Saturday, there was a good entry of pigs. Slips made 6s to 10s 6d ; good do., 12s to 15s ; stores, 31s. Several horaes sold' at from £3 to £4 12s 6d. Trees' and shrubs made low prices. At the mart hens realised Is to Is 8d ; pullets, Is 5d to 3s ; cockerels, Is 6d to 2s sd ; pure-bred rooster, 4s Id ; pigeons,, 6d. Furniture and sundries sold at ordinary rates.

Fruit — Prices during the week ranged as follows :— Apples, dessert, 7s to 10s, cookers, 6s 6d to 8s; lemons, 5s 6d to 6s 6d ; oranges, 6s to 8s ; bananas, bad order, 2s to 7s. Cattle — At Waiwakaiho, on Tuesday, small weaners made 9s ; good do., mixed, 15s; yearlings, 265; yearling Jersey heifers, 30s to 32s 6d ; store cows, 34s 6d to 455 ; springing heifers, >£3 18s ; dairy cows, £3 2s 6d to £5 ss. , At Rahotu, on .Thursday, mixed calves made 15s; yearling steers, 325; store cows, £1 5s to £1 14s ', springers £4. At Mimi, on Thursday, I held a very successful clearing sale on account of Mr. B. A. Petersen. There was a large attendance, and the cows being an excellent lot, in the pink pf condition, met with good competition, Jerseys selling especially well. Horses, implements, and furniture made satisfactory, .prices. Early calvers made £5 5s to £10 10s; October and November calvers, £4 to £6 ; harness mare, £26 ; unbroken 3year filly, £22 ; hack, £3 17s 6d ; breeding sows, £3 os.
