WEDDING BELLS.

A, wedding which will be of interest to many in Taranaki was celebrated at Amberley on Wednesday, December 19th. The bridegroom was Mr Arthur Horace ; lvearne, late of Lancashire, and now of Wanganui, and the bride "Miss Frances Kelly, . sixth daughter of Captain Jv KeUy^late of Awakino, ,Taramaki. The, \tpd4ing jcerdmony was perJEormed on the. l»wn in mont 6i "Pine Grove," the residence of Mj brother-in-law of the 'bride> and was •an exceedingly pretty sight, the diay being cloudless a nd. the background of tall trees adding- ntuoh' to the effect produced. The 'bride wore white voile, with > transparent yplie of 'Limericks lace, spray* of oraago blossom in« her ha*lr under tiho tullei veil, and her boKiquet of roses and lilies and' flowering grasses was lovely. Her chief bfriidesmaid was Miss Kate Kelly, who wore creme voile, hat of lil'ack crinoline and folded chiffon, . with bouquet, of shaded pink. The other bridesmaid a small girl, Dorothy Kearne, had 0110 11 a frock of smoked , cream silk, tj'uaint DutcH bonnet, and carried a 'basket of marguerites and red carnations. Tbe service was read by tho Rev. C. A. Tobin.' Vicar of Anrbterley. Mr Bowman gavo the bride away and Mr Herbert Kelly fulfilled the. part of groomsman. Later on the ha'ppypair left' few a five mile drive into 'A'miberley \to catch the train for Christchurch, en route for the North, where their Stature- h'oiine will be. The bride wore a bright navy blue doth costume, the upper skirt Htoed with white . silk, with lace vest, and a white cnfntoJHne ftat %vit'h big! puffs of tulle and white, feathers.
