;At the meeting of the, Borougr "Council on Thursday evening th< following recommendations of the Baths Committee were adopted :—l.: — 1. That as only one application has been received for the position oj custodian of the baths no permanent appointment be made at present, but t hat the • chairman be authorised to arrange to temporarily fill the position.' 2. The chairman subse-l quently appointed Mr Brown temporarily at a salary of £2 per week.
