FRIENDLY SOCIETIES PICNIC.

'The 'Secretary visited Sentry Bill oa. Thursday and founds the track in good order, and. learnt that a great number of runners and ' cyclists' attend at nights -and train,, and some good races will be the result. Ticket-sellers were

appointed on Thursday to sell at Eliot-st and town stations. Bros. Je»kdnson and Little soil for both the 10 a.m. and 11.30 a.m. trains at Eliotst., Bros.. McGahoy, Bennett, Cattley, •and Gilbert will attend at the New Plymouth' station" for tne same train*.

The ordinary' trains, which k'ave town at 10 and '1 p.m. will have .a ticket-scfler on the train as. well as at the station..
