POST OFFICE HOLIDAYS.

CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR, 1906-7.

Postal Branch.— Tuesday, 25th December, and Ist January (Cnristnias anc New Year's Day) are to be observed at close holidays. On Wednesday^ the 26th instant (Boxing Day), post offices are to be open in all branches, -except Money Ordej and Savings Baink, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Mails usually, closed on Tuesdays will be closed at 7 p:m. on Mon'da} s, 24th and !31st instant. A letter-carriers' deliver}' ;will be made at 8 a.m. on the 26th instant (Boxing Day). ' A counter delivery of town letters will be made from 8.15 p-™- till 9.15 p.m. on the Monday evenings (Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve). • Sunday hours will be observed in thf private-box lobbies on 25 th instant and Ist proximo, usual hours on 26th instant. The Railway Travelling Post Office will run as usual. Late letters for North may be posted at Railway Station ,up till 8 p.m. each holiday (extra fee Id).
