(From Our Own Correspondent.) On Friday -last we were entertained by the Steele-Payne Company of Bellringers. This is about the best company that oomeej round this coast, and I was glad to see a ful. bouse. The singing, bf 'Miss T&asty and v Mr Williams' was splendid, the latter being a special treat to hear. The Hhama Bowling Olub opwwd their season: to-day. Yet they generally manage to win. ~ The influenza has just about lett us. I understand that Te Kiri resDdents are living a taste just now. The school sports are attracting a e-ood deal of attention. If I*w day be fine, I understand that the cows will have to look after themselves for | once. '
