Auckland, August 3. Messrs Bucklaad and Song report :— . Horses.-^Active express sorts from £26 to '£41, buggy horses and good hacks £14 10/ to '£25 5/, light harness and ordinary hacks '£6 10/ to £16 10/, gig cobs and ponies £4 5/ to £8 7/6. : At Remuera dairy and store cattle sold at late values. 'Fat and young calves were short of requirements and sold freely. Sixty were s s ol<L There was a fuil yarding of beef of choice quafity which sold freely at an. advance of 10/ per head. Steers ranged from £6 to r £ll 11/, oows £4 to £8. 124 were sold. The sheep pens were fairly well filled and!, sheep sold at values slightly "below thos<e of recent sales. Best wethers reached 27/9, lighter weights to 123/, heavy ewes to 25/ 6, wethlers Ito 21/, ■' this season's lambs £1 0/6 to £1 15/6.
