Cbristchurch, Juan* 27. Store Sheep.— There was a keen, demand for all classes, hog-g-ets selling briskly at advanced, prices. Fat Lsfcnlbs.'-Seßt lots made 17/6 to 20/-, a few extra pens to 23/11, iigfcter ISA to 17/-. Pat Sheep.—Pr ime wethers 22/- to 25/-, oxtra 28/-, lighter 19/- t0. 21/6, prime ewes 20/- to 23/-, extra to 25/3, medium 17/- to 19/6, aged. 12'/*t> 16/6. ;, Pat cattle.*— S»teers brought £6 5/ to. heifers £S5/-to £9 15/,.an<3 cows £4 15/ to 10/. These rates are equivalent to 23/6 to 25/ for prime, and 17/ to 22/ for inferior to medium per 1001 b. Veal t calves sold at 7/6 to £2 14/. Store and ©airy Cattle*— The best sorts, of dairy cows met with a rather better inquiry, sales being made up to £8 5/. Pigs.!— 'Baconers made 35/ to 51/6, extra heavy to 60/, equal to 3*d to 3fd per Ib. Porkers 22/. to 33/, equal to 4<d to 4£ per Ifc. Stores were dull of sale at low rates.
