Bad Weather.

HEAVY RAINS IN HAWKE'S BAY. 'POVERTY BAY ALSO TROUBLED.' Per Press Association. Napier, August 3. The heavy rain of the past two days has been severely felt in tho country districts and the heavy sea running in the bay has added to th« trouble. The Meanee , district is again under Water to a considerable ox ten* and reports from other districts shou that in many places the rivers arc running bank , high, and rising rapidly. At Clive the mouth of the Ngaruroro is reported to be blocking up. In the' town ' a heavy slip is reported on -the Milton Road ; a largo quantity of earth coming down from Colenso Hill and completely engulfing the outhouses of a building below and damaging a part of tho house itself. j Gisborne, August 3. All the coastal and inland mail coaches are blocked, in some cases by heavy slips.
