S.M. Court.
A civil sitting o f 'the S.M. Court was held by Mr T. Hutchison, S.M., «n Friday. Cases in which plaintiffs sbcured judgment by default were as follows : -Hal. The S.M. gave judgment in the claim made by W. F. Greenway and George Cliff against Joseph West for £50 damages in connection with failure to fulfil the covenant of a laase 'of > certain land at Fitzroy from plaintiffs to defendant. The decision went m favour of defendant, and costs were allowed, totalling d&e 17s.' Mr Anderson was for plaintiff and JMr Grey for defendant.
