I Messrs Bewley and Griffiths report the usual [ good entry of poultry ; good table birds were | in} demand ; others slightly down. Hens realised Is 7d to 2s lOd, pullets Is lOd to 2s, Id, cockerels Is 6d to 2s Id, ducks Is 10d to 3s sd, geese 3s, turkeys 4s to 6^, pigeons is per pair, guinea fowls 3s 2d. Sundries and furniture at usual rates. No fruit came to hand „ during the week.
