In the judgment summons case E. Tl . Judgment went for plaintiff by default in the case of" J. Ward and Son v. E. P. Bullot, claim 16s 3d, costs ss. In the by-law ca^e, which was dismissed on the ground • of faulty bylaws, Mr Quilliam appeared for plaintiff and Mr Roy for defendant. Argument was heard in • the case of G. W. Henderson (Mr C. H. Weston) v. Henry F. Oallaghan (Mr Quilliam) claim for £33 15s due under a rental agreement, s The defence raised was that the tenancy had never been accepted owing to certain consent to a sub-lease not being obtained. This position was refuted, and'th? S.M. reserved his decision. Govett and Quilliam (Mx Wright) proceeded against the Collier and Colonial Piano Co. (Mr W. I/. Fitzherbert), for £23 8s Id, cost of services renidered in connection with the formation and registration of the company. Facts of the case were admitted and legal arg\unent touched the point whether a company was liable for costs incurred in formation and registration by an 'agent prior to 1 its formation. Decision was reserved.. The case of Robert Colean'an (builder) v. Arthur William Woods, G. W. Browne, H. Goodacre, E. NeflJson 1 L. Okey, C. Ahier, E. Snowball, and H. , A.
