■■ ■♦■ 7— To-night's attraciion will be the great American Toboggan slide at 9 o'clock. This has provided a greatamount of amusement in other towns, and>' should draw a large gathering. Skaters have t'o^kate up'an inclined plane, and Ihen" run down, something on the principle of the switchback. For beginners it is a daring act. I GRAND MASQUERADE CARNIVAL. This promises to be a most enjoyable function, and already a number of ladies have handed in the names of their fancy costumes. A dance afterwards is promised for competitors. Tickets for competitors can be obtained at the rink, and onlookers can reserve seats at McKinnon Bain's on Monday ' morning. Handsome prizes will be presented f£>r the most original and prettiest dresses, and the judging will be undertaken "by a local committee of ladies and gentlemen. I
