At a meeting o f the Presbytery of Tiin/ai'u, a motion urgiag ministers, office-Hearers, and members to keep before the eongrrvr'ntio'ns the /question of no-licen^c was carried. Revs. Chappie and McDonald proposed an amendment in favour of State control, and condejmued prohibition as unscriptural and ineffectual.
