WANGANUI WINTER MEETING.

The WiniEier Meeting will be started on Wednesday and concluded on TmirsThursday. The acceptances for the: iirst day are good, and there is every-, prospect of patrons witnessing an in-, ieresting- day's racing. Twelve remain in the Borough Handicap, 6 furlongs, which may be won by Boris' or Shrapnel. For the principal event.Wanganui Steeplechase, three miles, fourteen Lave accepted, and' ihere is tevery promise of an interesting contest.
