Harry Creber, of Wostport (Silver Wyandotte.s) is still leading, his tot a l for tlhre*' weeks bca'ing 56 eggs. The details aro :—l9: — 19 in tlio first week. 22 in the second,- and 15 in the third. F. P.. In the fourth position are the White Leghorns: of Mrs Aldridgp, ,of Wairaii Bar, with a total of 29, Consisting of 10, 11, and R. Fifth arc Brown Lcgliorns of E. 3Faxtod. Blenheim, with 27, made ui> of 7. 12, and 8. Sixth are the White Leghorns of J. Bod•on, Blenheim, with 2fi, made up of 4, S and 14. Many of the hens were not well prepared for the event, and in 38 out of the 100 pens not a single? egg has been laid. The weekly record issued by the management does not mclude daily details, or the weight of | {.ho eggs.
