Nominations to be in the hands of the Secretary by SATURDAY, JAN- , UARY 28th, at 5 p.m. HANDICAPS to bo dcclareo on FEBRUARY 6th. i Acceptances close on MONDAY, FEB. 13th, at 5 p.m. RULES AND REGULATIONS, ' 1 .—The winner of any race .may be subjected to a re-lmndicap before starting in another race at this meeting. 2.— No nomination or entry will be accepted unless accompanied by the necessary amounts. 3.— A1l races to be run under the N.Z. Rules of Racing as near as possible. „ 4__All riders to pay a fee ot os towards Accident Insurance Policy, to bo taken out by the club. 5 —Every entry must state the name or 'assumed name of the owner or owners, the name, age, pedigree, and description of the horse, colours of the rider, and must be accompanied by all necessary fees. 6 —Protests jnust be in writing, and must foe lodged in the hands of the Secretary within ten minutes of the declaration of the Judge's decision. f- t c\i protest must be accompanied by a deposit of 10s, which sum shall be forfeited if the protest 'is not upheld by the Stewards, whose decision shall be final. . , 7— The Committee reserves the rignt to" postpone the races should the weather prove unpropitious. B— The Stewards' decision m all matters shall he irrevocable, and the Club can withdraw or add any race to the programme if necessary. 9 —All Bookmakers to pay with the Stakes. 10 —Owners may be called upon to •rien declaration that horses nominated or started at this meeting are bona fide.
