Obituary.

♦— MR. R. STREET. A very much respected settler in tjie person of Mr Romulus Street passed away at the Hospital on Sunday at the age of 65 years. Mr Street had been troubled with an internal complaint, and a few days ago he was admitted to the Hospital for treatment. From the first his case was considered a critical one. Mr Street, whk> arrived here in 1842 with his parents, farmed for many years in the Bell Block district. He was well known and respected both in town and district, and his death would come as a shock to a wide circle of personal friends. The deceased leaves a widow (nee Barriball) anc: a large grown-up family to mourn their bereavement. Among the daughters are Mrs Boon, of New Plymouth, and Mrs Walker, of Ng-aire ; and among the sons Mr A. Stlreet, of Awakino. and Mr H. Street, of Bell Block^
