Entries for the Taranaki Championship Meeting, to be held on the local • Courtt, close to-night. At the time of going to press entries received are , in excess of anticipations, and a good feature is the number of both men and ladies who will compete for Championship honors. The fol,owing are some of the visiting competitors whose entries have been received,: — Mesdames Dr. Good, Corrigan, Pearce, Matthews, Payne, Misses D. Young, Powdreli. Payne, Caplen, Hannah, Dr. Goode, Messrs Parker, Gordon, Adams, Eutherford, and Powdreli. The bulk of the entries will arrive by mail on Monday, Several Auckland and Napier players will most likely compete. There is some uncertainty about Sliss iTunnelly being present.
