WARNING TO TRAVELLERS.

To the Editor. Sir, — Haying occasion to return from.! Inglewood in the very early hows of Wednesciay morning', our party was driven home via Seutry Kill and when just <m tho town side of the overhead railway bridge near bho gravel pit oiur horses and cab got badly shaken up by getting into two holes in the road (about a chain distant from each other). I might mention those holes had been iilled in, but evidently there was three parts of soft earth used instead of metal foundation, the consequence bei"ng that horses and cab wheels went down, and as the horses ware on aw uj^ grade and only going- at a walking pace. Ft thereby averted a seriout accident. Ire responsible parties for this class of roivd repairing should sec to the matter. — T am. etc.. J. P. M.UUIAY.
