He leaves a widow and two grown up stuns. \ The ceremony of opening the new i Slpit -Posit Office, which will in f,utiure be Wrtowji uai'der tiho original nanre of Port Aihuriri, waa performed on Wednesday by the' Pos'tmjasiter-Gener'al, Sir J. G^Wand* in t^he presence of the Mayor anid BonoiiigJi CoiiVncillors of Napier, and a large assemblage oi business people; anU residents'. At the conclusion of the ceremony the Mayor presented Sir J. G. Wiarjcl witjh a gold key as _ a memento of the occasion.
