PUBLIC notice is hereby given that in pursuance sne! exercise of thu powers vested in it in that behalf by the ' Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901, it is the | intention of tho Oakura Road Board to • (1) Form and mofc.l thai portion of j Wairau Koad from the Main Bouth Road to the junction of the Surry Hill Road ; then to continue 1 tho work from this point aioDgthc Surry Hill Read as far as the money permits. (2) To bonow for such purpose the sum of £250. (3) To strike s,a security for such loan a special rate of 5 6th<3 of Id in the £ upon the rateable value o± the following properties, via :—: — Sections 50, bO, 65, 67, 68, 153 154, 155, 156, 157, Block 3, Cape Suivey District, and upon sections part 14, 30, 31, 32, 41, 42, 43, 51, 52, 53, 59, 61, 66 Blov,klL, Wairau ►Survey District, such rato to be an annual recurring rate for 26 years, and to be known a3 the Wairau Road .Special Rate, t;i be computed at the rate of four and a half ppi- centum per annum. COUNTY" OF TAKANAKI. ■]k~rOTICE is hereby given that ac a X\ Special Meeting of the Council of the County of Taranaki held on Monday, the 2ivJ day of March, 1903, the following resolution by way of Special Order was passed :—: — That in pursuance" and exercise of tho powern vested in it in that behalf by " The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901"' and " The Local Bodies Loans Amendment Act, 1902," the . Council of the County of Taranaki hereby resolveg as follows :—: — That for the purpose of providing interest and sinking fund to secure the repayment of a loan or loans to be boirowed uuder the pro visions of " The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901" and "The Local Bodies Loans Amendment Act, 1902," for the purpose of providing funds for the reconstruction of Bridges on Itoadß under the jurisdiction of the Council of 'the County of Taranaki the said Council of the County of Taranaki hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of 1-12 th of a penny in the Pound (to be called a Bridge Rate) upon the rateable value ol all rateable property comprised within the whole of the Countyof Taranaki, and that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate during ihe currency of such loan or loans' and be payable yeaily on the 15th day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan or loans or until such loan or loans are fully paid off. AND NOTICE is hereby given that such resolution will be submitted for confirmation at a Special Meeting of the Council of the County of Taranaki to be held at th,e County Office.
