THE SIGN OF THE CROSS.
The Miss Fitzmauriee Gill Co. concluded their season here on Thursday night when they played the powerfid( drama, "'The Sign of the Cross" before the largest aujdieli'ce of the season. The drama was A well mounted, and pjayed, the audience, testifying their appreciation of the company's representation frequently and heartily. Miss Gill played the part of Mercia,' and Mr C. Biake aflpeared as Marou/. Both gave a limalhed representation of the ahai'acters. their acting appealing strongly to the audience. All the other parts were capably filled.
Tho company created a most favorable impression d-uring V^heir season here. They left for south this morning, appearing at Stratford to-night.
