ENDOWMENTS.
During the past year £143 18/ has been spent in levelling: ancl removing earth from the western side of MtEliot reserve, and several .sections are now available for leasing should the Board consider it advisable to offer them. During the' year sees f 14 and 15 on the east side of. v the 'reserve, have been le"t to the , New- Zealand Express Co. The total .annual revenue from the Board's reserves, at the present time amounts,, : tp £1017 7/7 (exclusive of 4 ironsand leases)', made up as follows,::— Ht k . Eliqt. -reserve* west side, £73. 2/4, Mt.- Eliot reserve east . side £845 ,19/3, Kawau Pah £40, llqturoa;£sß .6/., twenty sections on Mt.' Eliot are still unlet (including No. 13),, 13 ,in Brougliamstreet, 4 on the' : easV side of ,Mt"Eliot, and 13. on the west. v ,
