The late strong demand and rise in price of New flealand Insurance shares is accounted for by the satisfactory report and balance-sheet just published and payment of increased dividend. 'Ihe New Zealand River Plate and Lartd Mortgage Company have decided to is- ' sue the original unissued shares to* shareholders at 22/6. Thq premium on which added to reserve fund will enable the Company to pay off their debentures. Buyers are wanted for Sharland ie Co., New Plymouth Sash
