At sales during the' week plums sold at from 3/6 ito 6/, peaches 5/6 to ,8/, apples 3/6 to 4/, black currants 8/, raspberries 6/ to 7/, cherries 5/ to 6/, tomatoes 8/, cucumbers 6/6 to V> grapes 1/ to 1/3. ■At Stratford on Tuesday the yards were full with v fair attendance. The- demand for store cows and big steers •was not quite so keen as of late, ancl values receded upon recent sales.
