Was charged with causing- to bo inserted and published tin advertisement inviting applications from persons desiring to bet at the Club's meeting with, intent to induce persons to resort, to tho ' mepting. It was stated this .was a. test , case. After hearing evidence and counaeVs argument^ Mr Carew, ' S.M.. reserved his decision, as he was not sure tho case wns on ,all fours with tho Kempton Park case.
