An agreement has been signed between Mr Drake and Mr F. J. Morris, as trustee for the Company, fixing the purchase money at £4,250, of which the vendor is willing, at the option of the Company, to take £500 io fully, paid up shares. A statement of the trading account of the factory for the. period from tth January to 11th December, L9OO, shows that, with a total of J479 pigs^dealt with, a gross profit >f £2184 0s 6d, and a net profit of £9.45 17s 6d resulted, being equal to J6'per cent, gross; and 15i per cent, let. Mr Thomas Runciman, of ' Eltham, las, on. behalf of the Provisional Directors, inspected and valued theactory and plant, and his valuation, without including value of the and or goodwill of the business, is E'4242 7s. The Company will establish sta;ions at AVarea, Opunake, Kaponga, md Eltham within six months after •eceiving a sufficient guarantee that LSOO pigs will be supplied for one rear at each of, those places.
