BY A. LESLIE.
My wife's extraordinary nose Has cansed me many pains ; She often goes and sniffs around, And sternly matters "drains I" A tremor passes to my heart, A chill along my veina, When my good wife goes muttering The fatal word of "drains." And if I cannot smell it too, She tells me, in a pet, I've got tbe most inhuman nose Tbat ever she has met, I tell her 'tis decaying fish Oast out to feed the cat, Or 'tis tbe cabbage water smell ; She gets annoyed at that. The sanilary people come ; My life is filled with woes. How sad it is t& have a wife With such a wondrous nose.
