After looking in the window of a dealer in sporting goods for a good ten minutes he entered the shop and said : ' Sir, I have some thoughts of going a-fUhing. . ' Yes, people do have thoughts of it sometimes,' was the reply. 'if I go, I shall want at least L 8 worth of tackle. , . .. f All. of tint il.should say.' .- . . ' And,, sir, after, I have spent eight pounds for tackle, and taken two weeks holiday, and paid out twenty pounds for railway fares and hotel bills, what then, sir— rwhat then. . Will I have caught any fish f ' 1 Not one,' was the reply. ;.'i 1 But, sir-^but-7-' ;, : f But you will have had the experience. Gome in any time-you're I 'ready, and we'll fit you out and cell you/where the last man thought he had a nibble.
