Herbert Esi tate's .Contingent wns "adjudged champion- bull, . and Archdeacon > Williams' Duchess of'Connaught was selected as' champion cow. In Hereford cattle, J. Stuckey's Diamond Jubilee took championship, and J. Stuckey's Amethyst* champion cow. J. Stuckey was the principal winner in this class.' In Ljncoln sheep/- J, M. Wilkie's Lord Bobs secured W«mpionship and It. Bremer was the (exhibitor of champion ewe. -Nelson Brothers and N. A. Boecroffr were the principal winners -in Shropshire Downs, and J. Stuckey in\ South Downs. J. Raynor was most;succ£saful in Hampshire Downs. The Rom* ney championship' was securebV.by D. Rowlands, Palmerston North. .In pigs, Berkshire championships boar and sow was won by Slack Brothers, Palmerston North, and in Tarnworth classes J. Jar vis,. Palmerston North, practically won.aJl the' prizes including two championships for the best boar and sow. Lr. W.^tufcfofd and E. White were the principal./exhibitors in the Yorkshire. classes,^ the former winning four, first' awards. For- -the, best collection of factory cured hams and bacon, the North' island Bacon Company secured first prize, and'lnglewood Bacon Company the second.
