— «. A DAILY STEAMER SERVICE. . [PBB PBSB3 ASSOCIATION.] • WELiiiNGTON, October 7. The UnioJ and Northern S.S. Companies agree to the request of the Kail•way Department for daily steamers between Onehunga and New Plymouth, to connect with the proposed daily cx l press train service. The new steamer arrangement will not, however, start till December 1. The Companies will give the now, system a trial 3or the summer mouths. The Union Company, ho.wever, cannot see its way to detain its WelliogtonLyttelton steamers in Wellington to connect with the express trains.
