MESSRS BEWLEY & • GRIFFITHS SHARE REPORT. There has been a very moderate amount of business during the past week, but in some respects there is a slight improvement. Bank of New Zealand are practically without change. Gas and Insurance shares remain steady, and New Zealand Accident have sold at 47s 6d. Auckland gold output reached almost record figures, chiefly owing to the increased Waihi production. As the time approaches for the completion of the Talisman Consolidated increased plant he shares are hardening and have now reached 29s 6d. Monowais have also hardened to sale? at 2s Bd. The defiiro to sell is still the leading feature of the dro'licmsy market, particularly mM olyneux Companies, which with a rising river cannot do anything very Fati.sfn«'.t.>ry till the high river season is over. The returns from the West Coast show further improvement, a number being highly payable. We are sellers of Bank of New Zealand at 40s, and Sash &. Door at £6, and as this Company has recently secured a large area of first-class bush, its shares have an added value, and with a 12£ per cent, dividend are cheap at present prices.
