Taranaki Poultry, Pigeon and Canary Society.
ANNUAL EX^aiBITION. The annual exhibitidn of birds under the auspices of the Taranaki Society was opened in the Drill Hall to day. There was a capital sbow of birds, many of the exhibits being from outside centres, and Mr J. Walker, of Auckland, was as usual to the fore with a large number of excellent exhibits. This morning the judging took place, and in the afternoon the exhibition was open to the public. The show will be open to-night and to-< morrow. • The judging was not completed until too late f r the prize list to be inserted to-day.
